14th Infantry Regiment Association
...Welcome Golden Dragons...
The 14th Infantry Regimental Crest has been worn proudly over the past 50 years by two separate Battalions;  the 1/14 and the 2/14.
The Army split them apart in Vietnam, and both are still active today.
The 1/14th is with the 25th Infantry Division at Schofield
Barracks, Hawaii, and the 2/14th is with the 10th Mountain Division at Ft. Drum, NY.
  The 14th Infantry Association welcomes
veterans of both Battalions...

14th Infantry Regiment Reunion

Golden Dragons,
Join us for a "Get Together" in Branson, Missouri on 19-23 May 2022.  If you did not receive an email it is because we do not have your email address.  If you would like to attend please call me at (803) 917-0990 or email me at rmgraff55@gmail.com.  This event is open to All Dragons past and present, or to families of past Dragons who were honorably discharged.  We welcome all of our Dragon brothers.  Please, you must respond ASAP.  Do not pass up an opportunity to set with "old" friends and drink a glass of brew or Geritol?

14th Inf Chapter ROTL

A Message from Mike Graff,
President of the 14th Infantry Regiment Association

Golden Dragons,
I consider it a great honor to have been elected to serve as president of the 14th Infantry chapter of the 25th Infantry Division Association.  I'm looking forward to supporting our division association by helping this membership grow, and in doing so, our chapter will grow.
We all need to wear our division in chapter colors as often as possible.  When you come in contact with a Golden Dragon, be prepared to give them a division membership form like the one in Flashes.  Carry a form with you at all times.  By increasing the division membership, the 14th Infantry chapter should also grow.  Also, remember the division reunion in Hawaii in 2021.  This is a great recruiting tool.  It is everyone's duty to recruit.  At our chapter meeting of 9/11/19, we agreed that we need to recruit younger members.  This is something we all must try to do.  I encourage each member to visit veteran's organizations such as the VFW, American Legion, the DAV, and AMVETS, and recruit.  Use any means you can think of to get Golden Dragons together.
I'm still considering trying to organize one or more mid-year 14th Infantry Regiment reunions or gatherings, hopefully in April, 2020, and at a Central US location.  It may take a couple of get-togethers at different times and places.  We also agreed at that meeting that all Golden Dragons are welcome regardless of the division they were in or are currently a part of.  Remember, this will be a 14th Infantry function and not a 25th Infantry Division sponsored event, so we'll have to fend for ourselves.
I am not good at e-mails . . . I do text a little, but I do know how to dial my flip phone.  I prefer verbal communications, so call me at 1-803-917-0990 and let's talk.

Respectfully,
Mike Graff, President
14th Infantry Regiment Association

14th Infantry Regiment (Golden Dragons) Association Annual Dues

We started our fledgling organization over ten years ago, mostly from contacts as a result of the excellent web sites for each Battalion initiated by Kirk Ramsey and Terry Bender in the 1990’s.  Each of you receiving this message completed one of our Membership Applications at some point.  Being that there were no dues, some of you even included generous donations with your initial paperwork.

Several years ago at one of our business meetings at a Reunion, one of our members made a motion that we establish annual dues of $20.00 and the motion was passed.  It has been kind of a “loosey-goosey” deal ever since and because we are all volunteers and have no staff to send our reminder notices (and don’t really want to spend what funds we do have on postage!) many have fallen behind on dues.

We would appreciate it if those who haven’t would also consider a dues payment.  Checks should be made out to:  “14th Infantry Regiment Association”

Best Regards and Golden Dragons, Sir!
